So excited about shopping today!

My husband is out playing golf today.  It has been a rainy long weekend but we had lots of fun this one.  While I would’ve loved to have his company today, I’m very excited to go on a shopping spree for myself and equally happy that he’s enjoying his time out at the golf course today.  Babe, hope the weather gets better for you.

Although on Friday night, I was hit by the occasional fatigue bug and couldn’t really fight it anymore. Snuggled into bed at around 10pm.  This was a bonus for Saturday because I rose nice and early at 8.30am!  Did all the housechores while hubby was still sleeping so by the time he woke up, we could head out for lunch already.

Saturday, after disppointing wet weather cancelled our BBQ plans at Eduardo’s, we had a relaxing shopping day and went to Andy Lau concert.  Man, it’s been awhile since I’ve been to one of these functions.  Andy is a real performer.  He hosted a great show even though I must admit, I’m not a huge fan of his.  But just to see the excitement (and tears of joy) in my hubby’s eyes as he shouted ‘Andy Lau, I love you!!!’, reliving his teenage years (20 years ago ) was worth every dollar paying sitting in the front row.

Yet again, another upsetting rainy day called for the cancellation of our BBQ dinner plans with Julz and Renee.  I had totally forgotten that Sunday was DayLight Savings.  So, I missed my midday appointment at Wax Factor for washing the dishes at home!  Rescheduled it for later that day before heading out to Korean BBQ with Julz and Renee in place of our cosy home BBQ.  Oh well – at least the food was awesome!  Not to mention how great a night we had, chatting, laughing..the DSLR and photoshop conversations..and ‘Eagle Eye’.

Now, I’m ready to head out for some lunch and shopping all by myself.  I wonder if I’ll have some time when I come back to actually rewind back in the past and posts a few entries of the wedding planning for memory’s sake?

Dinner with you girls

It’s beginning to feel more like ‘Sex and the City’.

Dinner at Isa’s was great.  These get-togethers are getting rarer, as we grow older and have more responsbilities.

Thinking back to a few years ago, when we were all single for Valentine’s Day, life was so simple and carefree.  With maturity comes so much more responbility and appreciation for the times I get to spend with you girls.

Nowadays, we are old nannas.  I can’t believe we all headed home at 9pm.

Nonetheless, thanks Isa for organising this.  Yes – we should do it more often (than once every 3 months!!).
