They’re kind of like animal print pants. When they’re in fashion, you’re trendy. When they’re not, you look like you just stole something out of your nanna’s closet.
I remember when I walked out of the bedroom last season wearing a sheer leopard print top with tousled hair, feeling very sexy, Willie gave me this look like, “what the heck are you wearing?!” (Obviously, he wouldn’t know a thing about the latest women’s trends and leopard print is not something that would ever appear on GQ’s cover…. I hope)
It was cool. Today, not so much. But it’s funny, these things. They come back every few season so I’m keeping mine till I am a true nanna, in which case it’ll make the best Asian auntie outfit anyways.
