Grace x Strength Programs

— GRACE x STRENGTH [GxS] Programs  —

We offer 3 core yoga programs and 2 tailored speciality programs:

CORE PROGRAMS 

1.  GRACE FLOWS (BEGINNERS, INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED)
Grace Flow classes are Vinyasa style which syncs movement with breath.  We like to think that they are a beautiful expression of the body’s movement, much like dancing.  Often accompanied by soft contemporary Christian worshop music, classes start off with breathwork/meditation/prayer with themes drawn from Scripture before entering into the physical movement and closes in meditation/prayer.

Grace flow classes range from beginners to advanced. The levels can vary in intensity and experience. We encourage you to consult us or choose the class level that suits your experience and comfort level.

2. STRENGTH BUILDER (BEGINNERS, INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED)
Strength Builder classes are focussed on individual pose breakdowns and are slower paced.  Poses are broken down for more precision and to offer the benefits of stretching and strengthening of targeted muscle groups.  Often accompanied with Scriptural themes and parallels, classes start of with breath work/meditation/prayer and enter into postural breakdown, sometimes with flow and sequencing.  Classes close in meditation/prayer.

Strength Builders are great for beginners to learn the foundations of yoga poses and adopt good physical alignment before progressing into Grace Flow classes.  These classes are also great for slowing down, relaxing and restoration.  When paired with Scriptural meditation, it offers a great opportunity for healing.

Strength Builders are also suitable for intermediate and experienced yogis who are keen to take it up the next level with more advanced poses.

3. STRETCH & REST (ALL LEVELS)
Stretch & Rest classes are similar to Yin Yoga classes where the aim of the session is to stretch out tight muscles and create space for the mind to rest.  These classes encourage a focus on breathwork and decluttering the mind from the stresses of everyday life, and instead, restoring the mind with Biblical reminders of rest and meditating on God’s Word.

These classes are incredibly soothing and calming for the nervous system, and are suitable for all levels and anyone looking to walk out with the Spirit of Love and Joy.


TAILORED SPECIALTY PROGRAMS

1. YOGA THERAPY

2. SPECIALITY – CHAIR YOGA
Chair Yoga offers an alternative to our core programs for those who are less mobile, the physically disabled and/or the senior community.

As the name suggests, Chair Yoga is done with the assistant of a chair.  The student is either seated in a chair or using the chair and various props to assist them into yoga pose variations that benefit muscle groups that a traditional pose offers.

Similar to our core programs, these classes start with breathwork/meditation/prayer and a Scriptural theme accompanied by soft music.  The session then combines theory, educations and physical poses.  The class ends again with meditation/prayer with students seated back in their chairs.

2. SPECIALITY – KIDS YOGA

3. SPECIALITY – YOGILATES
